Sahil brings more than 8 years of experience in the construction industry. Since joining JB Donaldson in 2017, he has overseen numerous construction and new development projects. Some of his projects include the Sterling Enterprise Park, Arcelor Mittal, Anthony Drive Development, IEP Urgent Care centers among other healthcare, retail, and light industrial projects. Sahil earned his degree in Construction Management from Michigan State University, and holds LEED and Project Management Professional certification.

Scott has over 30 years in the construction Industry and also has held his Michigan builders license since 1992. Throughout his career, Scott has worn many hats including Director of Field Operations, Lead Estimator, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Project Executive. He has worked in many areas of the construction industry including Commercial Retail, Office, Health Care, Education, Non-Profits and Industrial. With the time that Scott has put into his career, he has gained many strengths allowing him to bring his projects to completion successfully. Bennett Donaldson, President of J.B. Donaldson Company, is a 4th generation builder. He founded J.B. Donaldson Company after spending his entire career in the construction industry. He began his “education” as a laborer for his father’s construction company. As time passed, he moved into superintendent and project management positions before finally branching out on his own in 1997. This lifetime of construction experience has exposed Bennett to all aspects of the construction process and ultimately became the cornerstone of the comprehensive construction, design-build business he proudly oversees today. Bennett is a high-energy manager, successful in building, motivating dynamic teams and cultivating a company culture in which staff members feel comfortable voicing questions and concerns, as well as contributing new ideas that drive company growth. Prior to joining the JBD Team in March of 2020, Scott has had several years of experience as a Project Engineer. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Public Policy. Scott assists the Project Managers in permitting, cost management/budgets, and project scheduling. One of Scott’s career highlights was working on the Orchard Lake Country Club Renovation since he is an avid golfer.

With over 18 years of construction experience, Chris began by installing the underground conduit that powered the old Wonder Bread factory and now powers the Motor City Casino. With projects in over 30 states, he has completed work on light industrial buildings, 700-unit multi-family apartment buildings, retail buildings, country clubs and high-rise renovations for fortune 500 companies. Chris has worked in various capacities, including superintendent, field manager and project manager for companies such s Milzow Builders, Acme Enterprises, PCI and Edward Rose and Sons. Chris managed construction projects for GM, Ally Financial, Ulta Beauty, BCBS Michigan and Walmart. His experience, along with a B.A. Degree in Project Management, give him a solid understanding of differing construction approaches and help him think outside the box to provide exceptional results to his clients.

Prior to graduating from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Bob served in the United States Air Force. Through his extensive professional background, he has completed projects all over the country for some of the largest national brands. Bob is responsible for estimating projects, contract negotiations, qualifying subcontractors, scheduling, and project development. His years of estimating and successfully turning over challenging projects has made him an asset to the JBD team. Bob’s upbeat and playful personality is key in maintaining project relationships.

Clay is an accomplished real estate and construction lawyer who has helped numerous clients successfully navigate industrial, office, retail, multifamily and residential development projects. Clay is an energetic real estate executive with experience in many aspects of commercial real estate, including: development, law, management, construction, acquisitions, dispositions and leasing. Clay has an undergraduate degree (B.A.) and a law degree (J.D.) from the University of Michigan. Clay is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and serves on the council for its Real Property Law Section. Clay is also a Michigan Real Estate Broker.

Kristen is new to the construction industry and brings expert experience to the JBD teams administrative needs. Her background is in the Hospitality Industry, where she worked as an Executive Assistant for many years. Kristen assists the team with administrative duties such as processing invoices, close out documentation, making sure subcontractors have updated insurance requirements, and providing a high level of customer service.

Joe “Cool” has been working in the construction industry for over 42 years. He has held many positions during his tenure, starting as a laborer and worked his way up to the Superintendent Manager. Joe oversees a staff of Superintendents to help ensure that the projects are running smoothly. Joe is responsible for the management of all field activities including organizing schedules, monitoring progress towards milestones, and maintains safety requirements are met on every project.

Eric earned his Bachelor of Science and Engineering Technology with a major in Construction Management and minor in Industrial Technology. He started his professional career as a Project Engineer. After about a year, he wanted to gain some different experience and changed positions to a Pre-construction Engineer/Estimator. As an Estimator, he was part of teams that won many high-profile projects ranging from $50M to $120M. His experience and education make Eric a force to be reckoned with in the construction industry.
